The conference will be a global gathering of key players representing the entire value chain and will focus on sustainability issues and opportunities in textiles, manufacturing, chemistry, and agriculture. The 2012 global event will balance inspiring plenary speakers with action-oriented discussions and forums that cover important aspects of sustainable textiles with topics including organic and other natural fibers (bamboo, cellulose, and many others), intelligent textiles, recycled fibers, bio-polymers, sustainable business practices in water and energy usage, social issues, pricing issues, climate concerns, industry and product integrity (including certification), toxics and waste, consumer market trends, key performance indicators, and traceability and transparency issues. |
